How to: Optimize a Route

Before optimizing a route, it's important to configure the routing settings for each member to define various criteria that influence the efficiency of route optimization. To learn how to adjust their routing settings, click here.

Step 1: Go to the Dispatch menu and select the date you want to optimize route for.

Step 2: Select the member and click the Add to Board icon.

Step 3: Click Optimize Route and Start. This will take a couple of seconds. Once optimization is complete, you'll see the updated total for travel time. Jobs will also be reordered to minimize the distance traveled from one Job to another.
