Location History and Visit Reports: Verify Where Work Was Done
This guide explains how to use Location History and Reports to see where your team has been during the day and verify where work was done.
In Location History and Reports, you can:
- review trips on the map
- check time spent at each location
- verify visits
Location History
Step 1: Go to Location from the main menu, then select Location History.
This is where you can review your team’s past location data.

Step 2: Select the member and the date you want to view.
This shows the selected member’s location history for the selected day or range.

Step 3: In Trips and Stops, filter the view by Trips or Stops.
Trips show movement during the day, while Stops show pauses and time spent at locations, categorized as At place, At job, or Stationary (outside defined locations).

Step 4: In Timeline, review the member’s recorded events in chronological order.
This shows all events throughout the day in the order they happened.

Reports
After reviewing Location History, you can create visit reports to keep records of visits, time spent at locations, and completed work.
Step 5: Go to Analyze from the main menu, then select Reports.
This is where you can access and download visit reports.

Step 6: In Create new reports, choose a report type and click Start.
To help you choose, see Types of Reports for details about each available report type. Examples include:
For Trips:
- Mileage Report
For Stops:
- Check-ins
- Stops
- Place on-site times
- On-site times of your team
For Trips and Stops:
- Worksheet Report
- Time Allocation Report

Step 7: Select the member(s) or Place(s) you want to include in the report, then click Accept and Next.
These options vary by report type. If they don’t appear, skip this step.

Step 8: Select the start and end dates for the report, then click Next.
This is where you choose the time range for the report.

Step 9: Customize the columns by reordering, renaming, or removing them to define the data included in your report, then click Next.

Step 10: Confirm the format and click Download.
Available formats vary by report type.

That's it. You can now use Location History and Reports to verify where work was done, keep reliable records of visits and time spent at locations, and share proof of completed work when needed.
