How to: Approve Trips from My Field Staff
Step 1: Receiving and Accessing Trip Notifications
- Once a trip's purpose is entered by a user, you will receive a notification. To begin the approval process, sign into your Hellotracks account. This is your first step towards managing trip approvals efficiently.
Step 2: Navigating to the Location History
- After logging in, navigate to the main menu and select Location History. This action will direct you to the section where trips can be monitored and managed.
Step 3: Locating the Trip for Approval
- Within the Location History, you have the ability to filter trips by selecting the specific user and the time frame of interest. This feature simplifies the process of finding the trips you need to review. To further ease the process of locating pending trips for approval, utilize the sorting feature in the approval column. This enables you to quickly identify trips awaiting your decision.
Step 4: Making the Approval Decision
- Upon finding the trip you wish to review, click on its status. You will then be presented with two options: Approve or Reject. Select the appropriate action based on your assessment.
