How to: Set Up and Share Your Estimated Time of Arrival
This guide shows you the two-part process for using ETA notifications. First, an administrator must set up the notification emails on the web platform. Once set up, the mobile user can easily send the ETA by tapping On the way for a job.
Part 1: Administrator Setup (Web Platform)
Step 1: Click the dropdown menu under your profile and select Company. Or, go to Settings at the bottom of the main menu and select Company Settings.

Step 2: Select Job Settings from the side menu and find the ETA Notification set up.

Step 3: Here, you can customize when the notification is sent:
- Check the box for Send ETA notification to the job's contact email address.
- Select the time intervals you wish to send the notification.

Step 4: Click Save at the bottom right to apply the new ETA notification settings.
Note: For the ETA notification to be sent successfully, the specific job must have an email address listed under the Contact section. This is typically set by the Dispatcher/Operator when creating or managing the job.
- Click on the Job, go to the Job Info tab, expand the Contact section, and enter the E-mail address for the job contact.

Part 2: Sending the ETA (Mobile App)
Once the settings are configured, a worker can easily send their ETA to the job's contact person.
Step 1: Open the Hellotracks app on your Apple or Android device and tap Jobs to view your scheduled tasks.
Step 2: Tap on the Job you are about to start.
Step 3: Tap the On the way button to send the ETA.
The system calculates the Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) and an email notification is automatically sent to the job's contact person based on the timing configured in the Admin settings.
