How to Sign up with an Invite Code

This guide explains how to sign up for Hellotracks with an invite code, the quick way to join your company's account directly from the mobile app. Your admin sends you the code, six letters, for example by WhatsApp, text or email.

Step 1: Search and install the Hellotracks app from the Google Play Store or the App Store.

Step 2: Open the app and tap I have an invite code.

Step 3: Enter the six letters of your invite code. The app checks the code as soon as you've entered all six.

Step 4: Check that your company is shown and tap the button with its name, here Join Isar Haustechnik.

Wrong company? Tap Use a different code.

What comes next depends on whether your admin already added you to the company.

If your name is on the list

Step 5: Under Which one is you?, tap your name. If your name isn't there, tap I'm not on the list and go on with the next section.

Step 6: Choose a password with at least 8 characters and tap Continue.

If the app asks for your email

Step 5: Enter your email address and tap Continue. No email address? Tap I don't have an email: the app creates a username for you. Write it down, you need it to log in.

Step 6: Enter your name the way your team should see it and tap Continue.

Step 7: Create a password with at least 8 characters and tap Continue.

Set up your phone

Last step: Under Set up your phone, tap Continue and allow each request in turn:

• Location
• Location when the screen is off (choose Always, or Allow all the time on Android, so your trips keep recording with the phone in your pocket)
• Keep running in the background
• Notifications
