How to Edit a Form

This guide explains how to edit an existing Form to update fields, including labels, field types, and required options, and to add, remove, or reorder fields.


Before you start: Editing a Form may affect existing submissions. Export the submissions before making changes. To learn how to export Form submissions, click here.


Step 1: Go to Insights from the main menu, then select Forms.

Step 2: Click the gear icon on the Form you want to edit.

Step 3: Update the Form Title and Description as needed.

Step 4: Click a field in the mobile preview to edit the Label or Type, or check or uncheck Required field, then click the small X to close the field editor.

Step 5: To add a field, click + Add field at top or + Add field at bottom, or use + Add field in the mobile preview.

Step 6: To delete a field, click the field in the mobile preview, then click Delete field.

Step 7: To reorder fields, click and drag the drag handle in the mobile preview.

Step 8: Once finished, click Save.
