How to Integrate with Slack

This guide explains how to integrate Hellotracks with Slack, allowing your team to create Jobs directly from Slack and receive alerts in selected Slack channels.

2. Create Jobs in Slack
3. Send Alerts to Slack

1. Connect Slack in Hellotracks

Step 1: Go to Settings at the bottom of the main menu and select API & Integrations.

Step 2: Click Add to Slack.

Step 3: Your Slack account will open automatically, make sure you are logged in. Otherwise, log into your Slack account. 

Step 4: Allow Hellotracks permission to access your workspace.

2. Create Jobs in Slack

Step 1: In Slack, select a channel or direct message. Enter /job in the message field, then click Send.

Step 2: Enter the required information for the Job, then click Save. The Job will be created in your Hellotracks Business account.

Minimum required fields:

• Title  
• Assigned to
• Date
• Address

Step 3: Once the Job is created, you will receive a Job ID. To edit it, enter /job followed by the Job ID, then click Send.

3. Send Alerts to Slack

To send alerts to Slack, create or edit an alert in Hellotracks and add the Slack channel ID for the channel where the alert should be sent.
